Look beyond
the behaviour.
Change the support.
Two practical sessions for Malaysian educators with an experienced Learning Specialist from the United States. Understand the barriers students with ADHD face, then explore accommodations you can realistically use in class.
Sometimes what looks like unwillingness is a need for support.
When we recognise a learning barrier, we can change how we help instead of rushing to judge behaviour.
“They won't begin.”
Is the task too big? Is the first step difficult? It may not be a lack of interest.
“They forget directions.”
Working memory and attention can benefit from brief, visible instructions.
“They can't focus.”
Structured transitions, movement and environmental supports may help.
From understanding behaviour to classroom support that matters.
